Broncos vs. Ravens: Week three inactives
By Tylor Walden
The Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens face off shortly. Who will suit up for each team on Sunday? We provide the game day inactives here.
Shortly, the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens will face off. This will be an important game for both teams. They each have a huge divisional game looming next week in primetime.
With it being such a huge game, both teams will have to be at their best. Denver is hoping to take their early season success on the road. Baltimore is looking to get a big win at home. The Broncos have struggled in Baltimore in their franchise’s history, but are looking to buck that trend.
Denver had four players who were questionable going into the game Sunday. With game time just about an hour away, we take a look at the inactives for each team.
Denver Broncos:
QB Kevin Hogan
CB Adam Jones
S Dymonte Thomas
LB Alexander Johnson
DE DeMarcus Walker
OT Elijah Wilkinson
OG Sam Jones
Baltimore Ravens:
QB Robert Griffin III
WR Jordan Lasley
CB Anthony Averett
DT William Henry
TE Hayden Hurst
DT Michael Pierce
LB C.J. Mosley
The biggest takeaway for the Denver Broncos is that Adam “Pacman” Jones will not suit up. He has been battling a thigh injury all week. He tested it out prior to the game and it was proven that he was not healthy enough to go.
With Adam Jones inactive, DaeSean Hamilton will be the punt returner for today’s game. Remember, Jordan Taylor is still out while he recovers from hip surgery this offseason.
As for the Ravens, the biggest inactive is linebacker C.J. Mosley. He is one of the big pieces to the Ravens defense. While Terrell Suggs will be playing, not having Mosley in the lineup is huge. I can see that impacting the game today.
Kickoff is set for 11:00 AM MST.
