Broncos Week Three Game

Denver @ Baltimore
Until the Denver Broncos prove otherwise, I am going to go with Denver to straight-up win this game. Their first two games have been unexpected battles with Case Keenum ultimately having to lead the team late in the fourth quarter to a victory, but there are plenty of key positives to take away from those two games.

The offense can move the ball consistently as long as Case Keenum doesn’t turn it over, and Emmanuel Sanders looks five years younger right now. Philip Lindsay and Royce Freeman are in the early running for Offensive Rookie of the Year, and we are just starting to tap on the game-changing potential of Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick.

Against the Bengals last week, the Ravens allowed Andy Dalton and AJ Green to look like the second-coming of Joe Montana and Jerry Rice. AJ Green lit up the box score with three touchdowns and Andy Dalton threw four altogether. This bodes well for the Bronco passing game.
The Baltimore Ravens head into this game 1-1 after blowing out the lowly Buffalo Bills and losing to the Bengals on Thursday night football last week. There isn’t much to take away from beating the Bills, but against the Bengals, Joe Flacco showed he still had some magic left in him.

Fortunately for the Denver Broncos, Flacco’s style plays right into the strength of the defense.
Denver’s secondary struggled last week as Derek Carr dink and dunked his whole way down the field, but Flacco loves to air it out and wait for the longer routes to develop. This will give Von Miller and company plenty of time to attack the quarterback. If the secondary can hold up and not lose focus, this could be a really big defensive showing for the Broncos.
