1. Deandre Baker, CB, Georgia

Baker, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound senior out of Miami, FL, has been stellar for the Georgia Bulldogs over the past three seasons.

In 2017 on one of the best defensive units in all of college football, Baker finished with nine pass breakups and three interceptions and has a pair of interceptions through the first month of the college football season already in 2018.

He’s been a shut-down cornerback and might be on his way to a top 10 NFL Draft status.

Baker turned down the chance to go to the NFL in 2018 for an opportunity to go back to Athens for another season and stuck around all Spring to mentor the younger players coming in. As one of the only returning starters from last year’s stellar crew, that was a veteran move by Baker who has played a lot of football in his time at Georgia.

He saw his first action as a freshman in 2015 when he was just a little-known three-star prospect. He’s grown into one of the most dangerous defensive backs in college football.

He’s the leader of the Georgia secondary and would fit what the Broncos prioritized in the 2018 Draft.
