Third Quarter

Denver got the football to start the second half. The offense was able to drive down the field, but for the first time since their first possession, the Broncos were forced to punt the ball. Marquette King showed off on a booming kick that went out of bounds at the Baltimore five yard line.

Being backed up near your own end zone against this defense would prove to add on to a nightmare game for the offense. Coming in untouched on a play action pass, Von Miller met Joe Flacco in the end zone almost immediately. The first two points for the Broncos defense were recorded.

The Broncos would take advantage of the free kick and drove down the field. But once again, the offense stalled. The team settled on a chip shot field goal by Brandon McManus to give the Broncos a commanding 22-0 lead. A three score lead on a rainy Sunday could be almost impossible to come back from without a little bit of luck.

However, there is still one more quarter to play, as the Broncos took a big lead going into the final frame.
