Broncos vs. Ravens: Week Three Madden Simulation
By Tylor Walden

First Quarter
Both Denver and Baltimore got off to slow starts. Each team was forced to punt on their first possessions. Denver got a bit more done with their possession than Baltimore did. However, it proved to be nothing worth while.
Baltimore’s offensive line was getting thrown around all game. Something that will become important as this game progresses. The running game could not find a hole in the line to save themselves. On the second possession, Baltimore punted again.
Denver was making progress on their second drive. However, a pass intended for tight end Jeff Heuerman on a flat route was picked off by C.J. Mosley. Well hidden behind the line, Mosley jumped up and intercepted the pass.
Luckily for Denver, Baltimore went three and out and was forced to punt. The punt went far, coming to a stop at the Denver five yard line with seconds to go in the quarter.
Case Keenum showed off his arm on the first play and found Emmanuel Sanders in one-on-one coverage. He caught it and sprinted down the field. However, he appeared to slip due to field conditions and fell at the one yard line.
It looked as if he got in, but for some reason, I could not challenge the spot of the ball and the first quarter ended. A small note for Broncos Country. The Ravens offense recorded negative three yards of offense in the first quarter.
