Chargers @ Rams

The Los Angeles Chargers traveled across the country to Buffalo and beat the Bills last weekend 31-20.
Their week three matchup is also an away game, technically, even though they are not going far. They face the Los Angeles Rams in an all-California matchup.
Both teams have young starting quarterbacks to lead their team, as well as some great running backs. The talent on both teams overall is outstanding.
The Rams, led by former first-overall pick quarterback Jared Goff, have plenty of weapons to overpower Kansas City, though.
Not only do they have Goff and running back Todd Gurley, they also brought in a ton of defensive playmakers during the offseason including defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, and cornerbacks Aqib Talib and Marcus Peters. They also have another star on the defensive line in Aaron Donald.
The Chargers have their star tight end Antonio Gates on hand but I think the Rams defense will be able to shut him down.

The 1-1 LA Chargers will be squaring off against their intercity rivals, the 2-0 LA Rams.
This a really tough game for the Chargers. The Rams have a power-house offense led by Jared Goff and Todd Gurley, and a stout defense under direction from Wade Phillips and an all-star cast.
However, the Chargers have a great team on paper, and when they perform well, they can beat anyone in the league. The only issue is that they tend to crumble late in games.
If the Chargers can keep this one close, and prevent Gurley from taking over the game, they might have a shot, but I realistically can’t see this happening.
