Last week, the Raiders fell short of winning their first game of the season. They lost against the Denver Broncos  by one point from a last-second field goal.

I strongly believe that Oakland will have a much easier time when they head southeast to Miami to face the Dolphins.

The Raiders no longer have defensive end Khalil Mack who, the man nicknamed ‘Chucky’, traded to the Chicago Bears before the season. They do, however, have some offensive weapons.

I think that Oakland will beat the Dolphins by ten points. They have the weapons to score points, while I’m not very confident in anybody the Dolphins have except running back Frank Gore.

This week the Oakland Raiders will be squaring off against the Dolphins in Miami. Oakland is coming into the game 0-2, while the Dolphins sit atop the AFC East with a 2-0 start.

Despite records, I believe Oakland is the better team and will take this game. To beat the Dolphins, all they really have to do is get pressure on defense to prevent the deep ball to wide receiver Kenny Stills, and keep running back Kenyan Drake in check.

Other than those two, the Dolphins don’t have any other big play makers that should trouble the Oakland defense. Raiders coach Jon Gruden needs to make sure his team capitalizes on turnovers and get a lead early and put the game into Marshawn Lynch’s hands.

Derek Carr had a much better week against the Broncos than he did in week one, and I expect him to play that way again. I just don’t see the Dolphins starting 3-0 this year.
