Lardarius Webb

Gary Kubiak’s hand in the front office is well documented. However, Kubiak spent a year with the Baltimore Ravens before becoming the head coach of the Denver Broncos. As someone with familiarity with the organization, Kubiak and Broncos front office/coaches could turn to Lardarius Webb as a number three corner.

As stated earlier, Adam Jones and Tramaine Brock are not playing well enough. There is another caveat with these two. It’s week three against the Ravens. If there’s one player who really needs to perform better, it is Jones.

Jones has a history of playing the Ravens consistently as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals. But we look to the future at the position. Webb is another veteran older than Alterraun Verner.

The one difference between Webb and Verner is helping create turnovers. Every year (except 2009) as a member of the Ravens, Webb has registered an interception. That is a staggering statistic.

This means in one form or another Webb is putting the offense back on the field. There is a consistent theme from last year and that is forcing turnovers.
