Cornerback depth has been a problem for the Denver Broncos. Here are some available free agents who could potentially help.

The Denver Broncos went through the preseason with question marks at the third cornerback spot. 2017 NFL Draft pick Brendan Langley was raw coming out of college anyway but failed to make necessary strides.

2018 NFL Draft pick Issac Yiadom is also a project. However, Yiadom would be tight on the hip of the wide receiver, yet fail to finish, allowing huge plays. This opened the door for the addition of Pacman Jones and the ascent of Tramaine Brock on the depth chart.

Brock and Jones are not lighting it up in the third corner spot either. Both players are veterans and in their 30’s. In limited play, Brock looks lost in coverage. It might be a case of miscommunication, but he cannot seem to close the deal.

Brock and Jones are seeing the most playing time over Yiadom. If it does continue, then the Denver Broncos do need to consider activating Yiadom or searching elsewhere.

Speaking of looking elsewhere, there are corners on the open market worth taking a look at in free agency. In my opinion, this option will not be addressed until mid-season. If these notable players are not taken now, then they more than likely will be there at that point of the season.

Let’s take a look at some veterans who could help the Broncos available in free agency.
