Injuries

While the game status of the players will not be decided until Friday afternoon, there is quite a bit to talk about. One injury to note for the Denver Broncos was on the starting quarterback. Case Keenum did not participate in practice on Wednesday due to knee soreness.

Keenum stated that he could have practiced, but the Broncos appeared to be cautious with him. Broncos staff says that he will practice on Thursday. So, this likely could just be somewhat of a extra rest or veteran’s day off. Sayre Bedinger wrote earlier on Wednesday that Chad Kelly should be prepared in case.

The other injury to keep an eye on is the status of Jared Veldheer. He is currently in the concussion protocol. Until he gets the green light from the doctor, he will not be allowed to practice. I stated on Twitter that it is an injury that Broncos Country should monitor closely.

Starting linebacker Brandon Marshall did not participate due to a knee injury. If he cannot go, Josey Jewell would be the next in line. And to round up, Adam Jones missed practice due to a thigh injury. A secondary that has trouble defending the pass cannot afford an injury.

For the Ravens, the one injury that I am focused on is linebacker CJ Mosley, who did not participate due to a knee injury.
