Denver Broncos (beat Oakland Raiders 20-19)

Last week: 2nd

This week: 2nd

Another week, another fourth-quarter comeback for the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos broke the hearts of Oakland Raider fans who were absolutely certain at halftime that they were going to be getting a win in Denver.

After trailing 12-0 to start the game, the Broncos turned things on offensively in the second half and scored on four straight possessions. The offense has, at times this season, looked unstoppable.

In the first week against the Seattle Seahawks, they didn’t have a single three-and-out offensively. Still, the offense doesn’t seem to have played up to its full potential yet. The Broncos have not gotten four consistent quarters out of Case Keenum, and they face a tough test in week three against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Denver defense also does not appear as airtight as it once was. They struggled to adjust to Oakland’s quick-strike passing attack and were unable to get much of a pass rush as a result. Playing from behind factored into that, but the Broncos have not scored first in either of their first two games.

If they can get off to a hot start, they can perhaps let their pass rushers wreak some havoc.
