Chiefs @ Steelers

Prediction: Steelers 42, Chiefs 28

As the Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin has a 6-2 record against the Kansas City Chiefs.

I think this weekend, his record will improve to 7-2.

The Chiefs do have an explosive offense led by Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill. They also have a very good running back in Kareem Hunt.

Well, the Steelers also have an explosive offense, led by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown. Despite running back Le’Veon Bell’s ongoing holdout, the Steelers found a back that has proven that he can carry the load.

In his first outing as Steelers lead running back, James Conner rushed 31 times for 135 yards and two touchdowns, while also recording five receptions. Conner will still need to continue to prove himself, but he’s gotten off to a fantastic start. Pittsburgh will be just fine without Bell.

They do still have the best wide receiver in the game in Brown for Big Ben to throw to.

So, in the end for the Steelers’ offense, they don’t have the exact same guys on the field, but if the Chiefs aren’t able to stop Conner, as well as linebacker TJ Watt, JJ Watt’s younger brother, who had a multiple-sack game week one, they are going to have one long day.
