The Eliminator Picks
Not sure what an eliminator pick is? No worries, we got you covered. Essentially, an eliminator pick is who we absolutely with certainty think will win the game.
There is, however, one caveat.
We can only pick each team once. That means, we cannot pick the Patriots or the Vikings or even our beloved Denver Broncos more than one time. Over the course of the season, we will track the success (or lack thereof) with each of our staff in picking these games along with who they can no longer pick.
Chargers over Bills (Derek Esquibel)
Last week the Chargers were run ragged by Tyreke Hill, the Bills don’t have a Tyreke Hill. Adding in Josh Allen getting his first career start the odds look good for the Chargers.
Giants over Cowboys (Sayre Bedinger)
New York is coming off of a tough loss against a really good Jacksonville defense. I think their offense is going to explode against the Cowboys and send Dallas into an 0-2 spiral.
Chargers over Bills (Cameron Parker)
Chargers lost a bad one to KC and they fix their offense versus Buffalo.
Saints over Browns (Mason Yellico)
They aren’t starting off 0-2.
Bills over Chargers (Graham Tiedtke)
Josh Allen proves people wrong. He completed just 40% of his passes against Baltimore and the Chargers are without Joey Bosa to put pressure in Allen’s face. Oh the Bills also have LeSean McCoy.
49ers over Lions (Andrew Wade)
I alluded to this earlier, it’s tough for eastern time zone teams to travel to the west coast. Plus, the 49ers are just a better football team.
There you have it. There are our game-by-game picks for the week, who should start and who should sit in the Denver Broncos game, and who we think you would be crazy not to bet on with our eliminator picks!
