Prediction

While the Denver Broncos enter this game, at the time of this writing, as a six point favorite I am not putting anything past the Oakland Raiders. This is a big time rivalry game. Seeing as how four of the last six games were decided by seven points are less, I would not be surprised to see that happen.

With that being said, the Broncos have won 10 of the last 13 meetings against the Raiders. That could be in due of the Peyton Manning effect. But still, 10 of 13 against your hated rivals is not bad at all.

In the last two seasons, the home team won every game. I can see that continuing, at least for this week. Both teams have their strengths on offense. But I believe that this game will come down to defense. It is there where I believe the Denver Broncos hold the edge. Without Khalil Mack, it will be difficult for the Oakland Raiders to do much when the opposing offense has the football.

I see the Raiders being competitive early on, but I believe that the difference between the two teams will begin to really show either late in the first half or halfway through the third quarter. Oakland will score late, but it will be too little too late.
