The Denver Broncos welcome the Oakland Raiders for their week two clash in the 2018 season. We preview the big time AFC West rivalry here.

An old heated AFC West rivalry takes center stage for week two of the 2018 NFL season. The Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders have been dueling it out since 1960. In the early part of the season, a new chapter will be written.

Whenever the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders get together, you can usually expect a battle. Four of the last six games have been decided by seven points or less. The teams have split those meetings at two a piece.

Both teams seem to be going in opposite directions. For the Denver Broncos, they made a lot of additions to the team. However, they did lose a key player on the defense in Aqib Talib. The team is hoping that Bradley Roby can take that next step.

The team did add Case Keenum in the offseason. He had some up and down moments in his first game as a Denver Bronco. But the best part is that he never gave up and continued to fight. He would go to throw what would be the game winning touchdown to Demaryius Thomas.

As for the Oakland Raiders, the end of the preseason saw them trade away their star on the defensive side of the football when they sent Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears. It will be interesting to see how that impacts the team going forward.

Let us take a look at the matchup between these AFC West rivals.
