2. Denver Broncos (won vs. Seattle Seahawks 27-24)

The Denver Broncos pretty clearly looked like the second-best team in the AFC West this past weekend, but with the potential to ascend to the top spot rather quickly.

The Broncos allowed the fewest points of any AFC West team at 24 and also were able to win despite three interceptions from Case Keenum.

Unlike Derek Carr’s three interceptions, however, Keenum accompanied his with three touchdown passes and the Broncos’ offense was able to move the ball to the tune of 470 yards and not a single three-and-out.

Denver’s defense gave up a few too many big plays throughout this game for everyone’s liking or comfort level, but they also got an MVP-caliber performance from outside linebacker Von Miller. Miller looked absolutely unstoppable in this game, notching three sacks, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and seven total tackles to go along with four hits on the quarterback.

He is the very definition of unblockable.

I talked about Miller’s performance, along with the rest of the team in my latest podcast, which you can check out here:

The Broncos played such a good game offensively outside of Keenum’s picks, it’s hard to be down on that unit at all. If he cleans up those turnovers, the Broncos are going to be very tough to beat on a weekly basis.
