Emmanuel Sanders has a field day

Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders has shown that he is a reliable pass catcher for the Broncos.

Since joining the Broncos as a free agent back in 2014, Sanders has recorded 4,261 receiving yards off of 313 receptions. He was Keenum’s go-to receiver in Sunday’s win, catching ten passes for 135 yards and a touchdown. His longest reception was for 43 yards.

Sanders and the other receivers in Denver finally catch a break after catching passes from three different quarterbacks during the 2017 season. It has been obvious since Keenum arrived in Denver that Sanders is much happier now that he has one quarterback to throw him the ball.

He no longer has to wonder who will be at quarterback each week.

For any offensive player, it is important to know who will be under center for the team. It is much easier for players to gain chemistry with one quarterback as opposed to having multiple guys throw them the ball or hand the ball off to them throughout the 16-game season.

Sanders didn’t just help himself during the victory. His accomplishments helped open up the run game. The win was a team effort, and Sanders clearly did his part. He is off to a great start to the 2018 season.

Multiple Broncos receivers are expected to make a huge impact in 2018. Week One was Emmanuel Sanders’ week.
