Record Prediction: 10-6

If you pay attention to NFL coverage nationally, a 10-win season for the Broncos probably seems a bit lofty. But to those who follow the team, expectations are much higher. After an offseason of improving virtually every offensive position group and maintaining what should be a top tier defense, I think a 10-win season is a realistic expectation for the Broncos.

I see the Broncos going 6-2 at home this season with losses to the Rams in week six, and Steelers in week twelve. The division games are always tough, and if the Texans offense is as tough as people say it’s going to be that week nine game won’t be easy either. But ultimately, the Broncos have always played well at home and I expect no different this season.

I think the Broncos will go 4-4 on the road this season with wins against the Jets, Cardinals, Bengals, and Raiders.

I think the Broncos will play well inside the AFC West this season splitting games with the Chiefs and Chargers, while taking both games from the Raiders.

If the Broncos can stay healthy, doubling their win total from a year ago is a real possibility. 10 wins should also be good enough to get them into the playoffs, which is always a good thing…
