Time for renewed expectations in Denver?
The Broncos will win it all (Sayre Bedinger)
If you’re going to give a bold prediction, you might as well go big or go home.
My bold prediction for this season is that the Broncos can — and will — win the Super Bowl.
What does a team need to win it all? Well, for the most part, you have to stay healthy. Even if you aren’t able to stay healthy, you have to have guys who can pick up the slack.

Look at the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles a season ago.
The Vikings lost their starting quarterback in Sam Bradford for the season. They lost star rookie running back Dalvin Cook for the year. The Eagles lost an MVP candidate in Carson Wentz at quarterback.
Those two teams represented the NFC in the NFC Championship Game, and obviously, we all know by now that Case Keenum was a big reason why the Vikings were one of the teams that made it that far.
Keenum was not carried to the NFC Championship by a great Vikings defense, but all of the pieces in place worked together. The Vikings and Eagles both had a scheme that worked well, they had depth, and they had players who were bought in and believed that they were the best in the NFL.
I see many similarities with the Broncos having such a deep defense, some new weapons offensively, and a quarterback who isn’t going to kill the team’s hopes and dreams because he doesn’t know what he’s doing out there.
They had three of those last season.
The Broncos won’t need their quarterback to play the best game of his life every week just to get by. Keenum’s efficiency and effectiveness along with his poise and leadership are going to completely change the course of this franchise, and the Broncos will shock the world by winning Super Bowl 53.
