Prediction: The Broncos go from worst to first

The Denver Broncos will win the AFC West (Ty Walden)

A lot of people believe that the Los Angeles Chargers are going to win the AFC West.

There are even a few that have the Raiders and Chiefs.

Most of the predications I have seen have Denver finishing third place at best. But I have seen most say a last-place finish despite all the moves Denver has made over the course of the offseason.

I am here to go against the grain of these other predictions. I think Denver wins the AFC West.

While this division is going to be perhaps the toughest one in the league in 2018, I believe Denver has all the tools to come away with their sixth division title in eight years.

Kansas City has lost too much on defense and there are going to be some growing pains with a quarterback that has only one NFL start to his name. Oakland lost one of the top defensive players in the league and the offense does not exactly scare me.

This will come down to the Chargers and Broncos. While the Chargers look good on paper, there has not been a lot of faith that they can pull it off. It is the same thing repeatedly. The Chargers have all the hype and then it does not come to fruition in the regular season.

A hungry defense, better running game, and a solid quarterback give the Broncos all the tools to quietly go in there and win the division.
