Prediction: Von Miller has his biggest season ever (part two)

Von is undoubtedly one of the best players in the NFL but still has never won the Defensive Player of the year award. I think this is the year it will all come together, and he will earn the title of best defensive player in the league.

The Broncos have four pass rushers in Miller, Bradley Chubb, Shane Ray, and Shaq Barrett that are good enough to be starting on a majority of NFL teams. Opposing offensive lines are not going to be able to get a break no matter who is on the field.

Bradley Chubb was drafted fifth overall to be a dynamic player and dominant player just like Von has been throughout his career. If Chubb lives up to his expectations, offenses won’t be able to throw as many players at Miller as we have seen the last few seasons.

When Von Miller had his career high 18.5 sack season, Elvis Dumervil had 11 lining up on the opposite side. If Bradley Chubb can play the Elvis Dumervil type of role for the Broncos in 2018, that opens the door for Von to have an MVP caliber season.

Von Miller is in the prime of his career. If there was ever a time to win the DPOY award and eclipse 18.5 sacks, it’s now.
