Denver Broncos vs. Seattle Seahawks: Week One Preview
By Tylor Walden
Prediction
For the first game of the 2018 season, this one is truly a toss up. For the Denver Broncos, this game will come down to the defense. It is the same song and dance. But given the circumstances, it is going to be needed.
It might take Case Keenum and the Broncos offense some time to really gel before they can produce at the potential that they have. Until then, the defense will need to do some heavy lifting for at least the first couple games.
That should not be a problem. The defense is meaner and hungry to prove that last season is in the past. Number wise, they were solid. Having a short field to work with because of the offense played a huge factor in the points per game to balloon up to what it normally looks like.
The Broncos will win this game if they keep an eye on Russell Wilson and the running game performs well. If Royce Freeman can execute those running lanes, it will be a solid game for him.
Look for this to be a low scoring game. Based on home field and having the defensive tools, Denver takes this game.
