Storylines

Earl Thomas returns to Seattle

On Tuesday, it was reported that Seahawks safety Earl Thomas was not expected to report for the Seahawks. That changed Wednesday morning, when Thomas returned to the facilities and began practicing. The Seahawks will need to make a move in order to officially place him on the roster. This does change things a bit for the Broncos. Now Case Keenum will need to keep an eye on where Thomas is on the field at all times.

Seahawks LB Shaquem Griffin to start

Perhaps the most inspiring story to come out of the 2018 NFL Draft, Shaquem Griffin will realize his dream of playing in the NFL as he was named a starter for the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday. With the injury to K.J. Wright, Griffin will get his chance to make an impact for Seattle. Griffin is a former University of Central Florida linebacker who plays with one arm. His story is inspiring.

Royce Freeman named starting running back

The Denver Broncos will have a new running back starting after C.J. Anderson carried the team for a few years. But it will not be Devontae Booker as rookie running back Royce Freeman will get the start after an amazing preseason that saw him rocket up the depth chart. Can Freeman produce at a high level this season?
