Denver Broncos roster: How the team acquired each player

Defensive Backs

Chris Harris Jr. (age 29)

The Broncos originally signed Chris Harris Jr. as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas in 2011. He signed a contract extension in 2014.

Bradley Roby (age 26)

The Broncos drafted Bradley Roby with their first-round pick (31st overall) in the 2014 NFL Draft out of Ohio State.

Tramaine Brock (age 29)

Brock has spent time with the 49ers, Seahawks, and Vikings before he signed with the Denver Broncos in 2018 on a one-year unrestricted free agent contract.

Pacman Jones (age 34)

The Broncos signed Jones to a one-year unrestricted free agent contract in August 2018. He spent time in his career with the Tennessee Titans (where he was a first-round pick), Dallas Cowboys, and Cincinnati Bengals.

Isaac Yiadom (age 22)

The Broncos drafted Isaac Yiadom in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft (99th overall) out of Boston College.

Brendan Langley (Practice Squad, age 23)

Before being waived at final cuts in 2018 and signed back to the practice squad, the Broncos drafted Langley in the third round (101st overall) out of Lamar Univeristy.

Darian Stewart (age 30)

Stewart was an undrafted free agent signed by the St. Louis Rams before he becamse a key member of the Baltimore Ravens. In 2015, the Denver Broncos signed him to a two-year contract as an unrestricted free agent. He signed an extension after two years of strong play.

Justin Simmons (age 24)

The Broncos drafted Simmons with a third-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft (98th overall) out of Boston College.

Will Parks (age 24)

Will Parks was taken by the Denver Broncos in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft (219th overall) out of Arizona.

Su’a Cravens (IR, age 23)

Cravens was originally taken with a second-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins. He was traded along with a fourth and fifth-round draft pick to the Denver Broncos for two fourth-round picks and a fifth-round pick in 2018.

Dymonte Thomas (age 24)

The Broncos signed Dymonte Thomas as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan in 2017. He didn’t make the initial roster but was signed to the practice squad and was added to the active roster late in the 2017 season.

Jamal Carter (IR, age 24)

Carter was signed by the Broncos as an undrafted free agent after the 2017 NFL Draft, and made the active roster, playing in all 16 games. He was placed on IR after a torn hamstring in the team’s opening preseason game.

Trey Marshall (Practice Squad, age 22)

The Broncos signed Marshall as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State in 2018 before adding him to their practice squad after final cuts.
