Wide Receiver

Demaryius Thomas (age 30)

With Josh McDaniels and Brian Xanders as the team’s brain trust, Demaryius Thomas was a first-round pick of the Denver Broncos in the 2010 NFL Draft (22nd overall). He was also the team’s franchise player in 2015 and signed a massive contract extension worth $14 million per season.

Emmanuel Sanders (age 31)

The Broncos initially signed Emmanuel Sanders as an unrestricted free agent in 2014 after losing Eric Decker to free agency. Sanders signed a three-year contract at the time and signed an extension with the Broncos worth $11 million per season. Sanders was originally a third-round pick out of SMU in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Courtland Sutton (age 22)

Courtland Sutton was a surprise faller in the 2018 NFL Draft, and the Denver Broncos capitalized. He was the team’s second-round pick (40th overall) out of SMU.

DaeSean Hamilton (age 23)

The Broncos drafted DaeSean Hamilton with the 113th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft (fourth round) out of Penn State. Hamilton also worked with the Broncos’ coaching staff at the 2018 Senior Bowl in Mobile, AL.

Tim Patrick (age 24)

The Broncos originally signed Tim Patrick (an undrafted free agent after the 2017 NFL Draft) to their practice squad in October 2017. Patrick was signed to the active roster and back to the practice squad in the same year before signing a reserve/future contract in 2018.

Isaiah McKenzie (age 23)

The Broncos selected Isaiah McKenzie with the 172nd overall pick (fifth-round) of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Georgia. They waived him at the time of final cuts in September 2018 and re-signed him to the active roster the next day.

Jordan Taylor (PUP, age 26)

The Broncos originally signed Jordan Taylor as an undrafted free agent after the 2015 NFL Draft out of Rice. Taylor made the team’s practice squad in 2015 and then made the active roster ahead of the 2016 season. He’s currently recovering from a hip injury on the PUP list.

Carlos Henderson (Practice Squad, age 23)

The Broncos selected Carlos Henderson with the 82nd overall pick (third-round) of the 2017 NFL Draft. He missed all of training camp in 2018 after missing his rookie season due to injury, and was waived ahead of final cuts. The Broncos signed him back to the practice squad in September 2018.

River Cracraft (Practice Squad, age 23)

Cracraft was an undrafted free agent out of Washington State in 2017 and signed on to the Broncos’ practice squad in October. He was released from the practice squad after suffering an injury and brought back when he was healthy. He signed a reserve/future contract and was brought onto the team’s practice squad after being waived at final cuts in 2018.
