Defensive Backs (10, 50/53)

Kept: (CB) Chris Harris Jr., Bradley Roby, Tramaine Brock, Pacman Jones, Isaac Yiadom; (S) Darian Stewart, Justin Simmons, Will Parks, Su’a Cravens, Dymonte Thomas
Cut: (CB) Brendan Langley, C.J. Smith, Michael Hunter, Marcus Rios, (S) Trey Marshall, Shamarko Thomas, Jordan Moore

The biggest surprise here is that the Broncos decided to part ways with 2017 third-round pick Brendan Langley.

He’s part of the 2017 NFL Draft purge happening in Denver and unfortunately, the team could not justify his special teams ability for how unreliable he’s been as a defensive back.

Langley being cut will hopefully lead to his being on the practice squad, provided there are no hard feelings. This is a tough business, and Pacman Jones is simply better suited to help the Broncos right now.

The Broncos should look to keep Trey Marshall and possibly C.J. Smith on the practice squad.
