Offensive Line (9, 24/53)

Kept: Garett Bolles, Ron Leary, Matt Paradis, Connor McGovern, Jared Veldheer, Billy Turner, Elijah Wilkinson, Max Garcia, Sam Jones
Cut: Cyrus Kouandjio, Jeremiah Poutasi, J.J. Dielman, Austin Schlottmann, Leon Johnson, Andreas Knappe, Austin Fleer

The only surprise here for the Broncos is the fact that they cut Cyrus Kouandjio, who played really well at the end of the 2017 season and had a good camp and preseason by all accounts.

The Broncos also — for now — are keeping rookie Sam Jones on the active roster after he battled an injury late in camp and into the preseason.

Elijah Wilkinson was kept on the active roster most of last season, so perhaps Broncos Country shouldn’t be super surprised by his inclusion on the roster again this year.

It looks like if anything were to happen to Garett Bolles, the Broncos’ plan of action would be to move Veldheer over to the left side and insert Billy Turner at right tackle.
