Shane Ray – Traded

There is no doubt that Shane Ray has performed to the best of his abilities during his time in Denver. The reason he is on this list sparks from the moment the Denver Broncos drafted Bradley Chubb.

Ray has been injured for the most part of last year. After his first two successful years, the injury bug really bit him and he missed the majority of the 2017 season. His recovery has been slowed down by quite a bit.

Denver decided not to exercise Ray’s fifth year option. That meant he would need to have a monster year in 2018.

Another factor him being on this list is the amount of talent that I am certain the team does not want to subject to waivers. Players like Jeff Holland and A.J. Johnson could make a huge impact for the Broncos this season on defense or special teams. It is never a bad thing to have a lot of talent at the position.

With that said, I believe Elway will find a team willing to use Shane Ray on their team. This is one trade that I can absolutely see happening. It will all depend on if the price is right for the Denver Broncos. If they are unable to find a team, I see Ray staying on the roster.
