Carlos Henderson – Cut, Placed on Practice Squad

The Denver Broncos played in three preseason games before Carlos Henderson decided to show up at the team facilities. From January to now has been all downhill for the second year wide receiver.

First, he was caught with marijuana that led to his arrest. Then when training camp began, he was no where to be found. Vance Joseph mentioned that he would be placed on the did not report list. Apparently, a family issue arose and he stayed home to handle that situation.

Emmanuel Sanders would reach out to him but as far as my knowledge he did not respond. About halfway through the preseason, the NFL announced that he would be suspended for the first game of the 2018 season.

He would come back to the team facilities, but did not play in the final preseason game. The fact that this all went down and he did not play in a single preseason game leads me to believe he will not be on the final roster.

The best case scenario for Carlos Henderson is for the team to place him on the practice squad. Allow him to get back on track. He will have to serve the suspension wherever he ends up.

I can also see a situation where the Broncos part ways with him and not sign him to the practice squad. It will all depend on what Elway thinks. For now, I see him coming back but not on the active roster.
