Brendan Langley – Cut, Placed on Practice Squad

Where do I even begin? Brendan Langley had perhaps one of the worst preseasons among the Denver Broncos cornerbacks. He was consistently beat in coverage. Last season, he made the final roster. However, he would be benched as the season went on. Marcus Rios would end up passing him on the roster.

It seems like his downward spiral continued. The only way I can see him making the roster is by special teams. But it is more likely they can find a player on the roster who can perform well. Langley’s name was barely mentioned at all during the preseason. Whenever it was, it was not for a good reason. This could be one of the easier decisions for John Elway and company.

When roster cuts are made, I see the team parting ways with Langley at first. However, I believe the team will end up bringing him back on the practice squad.

Being placed on the practice squad would actually be a best case scenario for Langley. It will give him a good chance to develop himself and perhaps somewhere down the road, he could find himself back on the active roster.

Hopefully Brendan Langley can better himself and find himself back among the No Fly Zone in the near future.
