Denver Broncos: Five players who will not make final roster
By Tylor Walden
The Denver Broncos and the rest of the NFL are preparing for their final roster cuts. Here are five players that I believe will be packing their bags.
For over one thousand professional football players, their dreams will be crushed over the weekend. It is a tough business seeing a roster reduced from 90 players to 53. That does not include the ten player practice squad. However, the Denver Broncos and the rest of the NFL have to make some tough decisions.
In my opinion, the 2018 preseason showed a lot of progress from the first game to the last game. The amount of work that all the players put in was quite phenomenal. From the rookies to the veterans, a lot of players showed some promise.
But not every player can make the team. The important part for the Denver Broncos is to field the best 53 men that can lead the team to victory. Having to go up against the best of the best, Denver needs to be ready.
There will still be a chance for some of the players as they can be picked up and placed on the practice squad as long as they clear waivers. Others could also find opportunities playing for any of the other 31 teams in the league.
For this list, I will be naming five players who could be on the move by the time the final roster cuts are completed on Saturday. This will feature names that are more well known.
With that being said, let us jump right into the list.
