Denver Broncos: Final 53-man roster prediction
Time is nearing for teams to trim their roster from 90 to 53 players. Here is my final roster prediction for the 2018 Denver Broncos.
The 2018 preseason is coming to a conclusion. Some hopes and dreams are just beginning, while others will come to an end as each team is required to reduce their roster from 90 players to 53 players. The Denver Broncos have questions at multiple positions.
They don’t have much longer to figure out who makes the cut to 53. There are bound to be some surprise cuts. That happens fairly often. I’m not quite sure who would be a “surprise” but there likely will be at least one.
Denver is expected to sit all of their starters on Thursday except at the running back position. It is unknown as of right now who will be the team’s starting running back, so this week is the group’s final audition before cutdown day.
Even though teams will need to be at 53 players, there is still the possibility that a team goes below the maximum number of players. This would allow a player who was cut from another team to sign elsewhere.
The Broncos are stacked at some positions, such as linebacker. There will still be some difficult choices to make at that position, but either way, the Broncos seem to be fine there.
Now, let’s dive into each position and take a look at who I have making the final 53-man roster.
