Dave Williams, RB

The Broncos drafted Williams, a former South Carolina transfer to Arkansas, in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Williams has a very balanced skill set as a running back though one trait stands out more than the rest.

Williams is a phenomenal pass protector.

The Broncos are likely trying to figure out a way to keep him on the team in some capacity as we speak.

Last year, even with four running backs and a fullback on the active roster, the Broncos tried to keep another on the practice squad (Jonathan Williams) before he was plucked away by the Saints.

The Broncos have just six running backs and it wouldn’t be a shocker whatsoever to see them find a way to keep them all.

Sneaking Williams onto the practice squad is the likeliest course of action at this point.
