Isaiah McKenzie

McKenzie will need to continue to showcase his skills on special teams during the final preseason game if he wants to make the final roster. The Broncos have just one or two spots left open.

One of McKenzie’s disadvantages in regards to the receiver position is his size (5’7”, 173 pounds).

He has looked a lot better on special teams this year compared to last year, however. Nerves got the better of him during his rookie season, causing him to have the case of fumble-itis.

River Cracraft & Tim Patrick

This is an interesting pair of players.

Patrick has the advantage over Cracraft in terms of height (6’5” compared to 6’0”). Patrick has also made some ridiculous catches, catches that somebody like Odell Beckham would be proud of.

I believe Cracraft is one of the odd men out at the wide receiver position, primarily because of Patrick’s performance during the preseason. He could end up on the team’s practice squad, but somebody may decide that they have seen enough to want him on their roster.

Either way, the Broncos are very, very strong at the wide receiver position. They have pass catchers who really had no shot at making the 53-man roster but those players could end up somewhere else in the league.
