As we stated with Paxton Lynch, sometimes draft politics play a role in whether or not a player is kept on the 53-man roster.

That could be the case with Langley, a player the Broncos knew would be a bit of a project.

But after the team signed Pacman Jones, how patient are they really willing to be with the former third-round pick out of Lamar University?

Langley has been one of the team’s top special teams players through the first three weeks of the preseason but has also been somewhat of a liability in coverage.

What can Langley do in coverage in this game to prove he’s not just going to be an asset on kickoffs and punts?

If Langley plays poorly on defense again in this game, the Broncos may try to sneak him onto the practice squad, though as a former high draft pick, teams could jump at the chance to get him.
