The Denver Broncos suffered a significant blow to their depth at linebacker with Jerrol Garcia-Williams gone for the season after injuring his ACL Tuesday.

There is another injury in Denver regarding the linebacker position. Unfortunately, it is another season ending one. Linebacker Jerrol Garcia-Williams injured his ACL in practice on Tuesday.

While it is not determined if it is a tear, the injury will force Garcia-Williams to be gone for the entire season. He was carted off during practice, so it did not look like the injury was good to begin with.

It is a shame to see a season end so early for a player. Garcia-Williams had a solid season with the Broncos in 2017. He played in eleven games and recorded two tackles. In April, he signed his exclusive rights free agent tender. He did record two tackles in three preseason games.

While a tough blow for the Denver Broncos, the team should be good at the linebacker position. A position that is really important for the team in regards to depth, it appears the pass rushers should be good to go.

With Jerrol Garcia-Williams gone for the year, this could mean an opportunity will rise for another player who is on that roster bubble. It could go to a pass rusher who was below Garcia-Williams on the depth chart.

It could go to a player at another position that has been hovering around that bubble.

It is a shame we will not get to see Garcia-Williams take that next step for the Denver Broncos in 2018. It would not surprise me at all to see him come back stronger and ready to done the orange and blue in 2019.

It will be great to see him come back to compete for a spot next season. I have no doubt he will succeed.

Wishing Garcia-Williams all the best. Prayers for a speedy and healthy recovery. Looking forward to seeing you next season.
