Brandon McManus has been a quiet MVP of the Broncos’ preseason.

He was certainly a major reason why this team won Super Bowl 50, but he had a bit of a down 2017 season.

After hitting over 85 percent of his kicks in 2015 and 2016, McManus’ accuracy dipped to just 75 percent last season for the Broncos on field goals, and the Broncos allowed 23 yards per kickoff, easily the highest number in his time with the team.

So far this preseason, McManus is a perfect 7-for-7 on field goal attempts, 7-for-7 on extra point attempts, and 18.3 yards per kickoff return.

The coverage units are better, McManus looks confident and accurate on field goals and extra points, and he nailed two kicks from 50-yards and beyond on Friday night, including a 56-yard bomb.

He’s regular season-ready.
