Bad: Devontae Booker

Let me start by saying that I am in complete shock at how Devonate Booker has performed this preseason. He is the most experienced running back on the roster. Yet, for some reason, he cannot separate himself from the running backs who have the least amount of experience.

In fact, if I were to evaluate all the running backs on the roster, Booker could very well be in the last spot of the running back depth chart. There has been so much promise on the former fourth round pick out of Utah.

He has recorded single digits in rushing yards in two of the three preseason games. For a player who was supposed to run away with the starting running back job, he sure is not showing that he deserves even a roster spot at this point.

Booker could very well be a player that the Broncos staff will consider cutting ties with once the final roster cuts begin. With so much explosiveness coming from the others, Thursday could very well be the last time we see Devonate Booker in a Broncos uniform.

I expect the Denver Broncos to give him all the carries they possibly can give to him. This upcoming game could really shift the roster in a big way.
