Good: De’Angelo Henderson

Like David Williams, De’Angelo Henderson has been a non-factor in the Denver Broncos running back race. His carries have been very limited and few yards have been gained in the opportunities he has been given. On Friday, he has shown that he deserves to continue to have his horse in the race.

Henderson had one more carry than Williams, recording seven carries. He made the most of those carries, recording 32 yards. His eleven yard scamper was his longest of the night. Henderson also factored into receiving the football, recording 31 yards on three catches.

His performance proved that he still has what it takes to become a factor in the running back by committee offense. He could very well be in the running for the third running back job with the Denver Broncos.

There is no doubt he has the talent. He showed it in preseason last season and had a very solid touchdown run in the finale against the Kansas City Chiefs. If he can perform well against the Arizona Cardinals in the preseason finale, he could very well lock up a spot on the final 53-man roster going into his sophomore year. His performance on Thursday can determine a lot of jobs.
