Bad: Issac Yiadom

Remember when I said that there could be a cornerback that is performing worse than Brendan Langley? I honestly believe that Issac Yiadom is that player. Consistently getting beat by wide outs have resulted in him either getting burned or drawing a penalty flag.

The big plays allowed cannot happen. And giving the opposing offense free yards was something that doomed the Denver Broncos defense last season. Broncos Country will throw fits if this continues to happen.

I am not sure what is up with the third round cornerbacks that cannot make any plays when it comes to defending the wide outs. But with the limited amount of help behind the starting corners, it will spell disaster if Chris Harris Jr. or Bradley Roby are knocked out of the game for whatever reason.

As of now, I believe that Yiadom’s spot on the roster is safe, granted he will be stashed deep into it. But if he performs poorly in Arizona, perhaps the practice squad will be where he ends up. This will be especially true if the Denver Broncos can find some cornerback help in free agency once the final roster cuts are completed.
