The Denver Broncos won their first preseason game of the 2018 season. Who has shown improvements and who has fallen with just one preseason game left to go.

The Denver Broncos have won their first preseason game of the 2018 season. It was one of the better performances Broncos Country has seen in a while. The team jumped out to a 17-3 halftime lead and never looked back.

While there are obviously some things to improve on, this was an overall impressive game from the Denver Broncos. All three phases were solid. Offense was solid. Defense had some bright spots early on. Special teams looked solid, especially the kicking game.

Broncos Country will not be seeing any of the first team in the final preseason game. Against the Arizona Cardinals, there will be a mixture of second and third string players. Those players will be looking to cement a spot in the final 53. Others will battle for a spot in Denver or perhaps another team.

There is also ten spots on the practice squad that will be handed out around this time next week. The final preseason game will determine who is in and who is out. However, Friday’s game against the Washington Redskins might have given us a really good chance at who locked in a spot.

Let us take a look at three Broncos players who have made a good case for themselves and three players that will need that final preseason game to get a little boost of confidence heading to final roster cuts.
