River Cracraft, WR

If the Broncos are crunching numbers and have to decide whether to keep River Cracraft or Isaiah McKenzie as the team’s sixth receiver, it appears as though Cracraft is on the outside looking in at this point.

The Broncos also are factoring in a potentially tough decision with Carlos Henderson, and whether or not to keep him on the roster simply based on the fact that he was a third-round pick a year ago.

Cracraft has been showing out in practices and doing well in training camp, but so far, that success has not translated to the preseason games.

Through three games, Cracraft has three catches for a total of three yards.

He has gotten a chance to play with more than just Paxton Lynch and not to pile onto Lynch, but failing to stand out in the non-Lynch reps is what is eye-opening right now.

Cracraft has even been working some with the top offense in camp so maybe the team is really encouraged by him and banking on potential, but he seems to me like an ideal practice squad guy and mid-season call-up.

He has not separated himself offensively or on special teams in games, and that has to be taken into account with a bubble player like this.
