The Denver Broncos offense has looked really solid in the dress rehearsal preseason game. Here are some takes from the first half vs. Washington.
In a game where the starters are to play into the early stages of the second half, the Denver Broncos and Case Keenum have looked solid.
Three players that should get most of the credit to the success of the Broncos first team offense are Courtland Sutton, Phillip Lindsay, and Royce Freeman.
Courtland Sutton had an amazing catch that resulted in a first down. Phillip Lindsay continued to show why he deserves to be the next undrafted free agent to join the Denver Broncos final 53-man roster.
And Royce Freeman continued his trek towards the starting running back job. He had a great rushing touchdown. He has scored a touchdown in every preseason game thus far.

Not to be outdone, Emmanuel Sanders made some solid catches and even scored on a wide receiver reverse. His rushing touchdown was aided by solid blocking and breaking tackles.
One name on the Broncos defense that has impressed is Dymonte Thomas. He has made some solid tackles. The defense as a whole recorded a fourth down stop. The defense also limited Alex Smith, the former Chiefs quarterback, to only three completions for 33 yards.
Some injuries to keep an eye on are Derek Wolfe (back) and Brandon Marshall (concussion), who both went down in the first half. Both Marshall and Wolfe are probable to return. Shamarko Thomas was taken to a local hospital for an eye injury. Hopefully, Shamarko will be okay.
The Broncos will get the football to start the second half. How much of the first team will we see coming out of the half? I do not expect them to stick out there for much longer, if at all.
