Jake Butt, TE

Let’s get the ball to Jake Butt, shall we?

The Broncos featured Jeff Heuerman in the second preseason game and Butt was, unfortunately, beat around the edge in pass protection on the flea-flicker play.

That’s all we really got to see of him. We haven’t seen Butt get involved yet as a receiver after a stellar offseason and it’s high time.

We have talked about Butt at length this offseason.

He’s big, he’s athletic, he’s got great hands, and he’s a playmaker.

If the Broncos have two guys who can be mismatches in the passing game in Butt and Jeff Heuerman, this offense is going to reach heights nobody — even the most optimistic — imagined.
