The Broncos have to find a way to keep all five of these guys if a trade cannot be worked out.

They are very unlikely to be able to sneak Jeff Holland to the practice squad, and he’s shown enough that he could be an asset on gamedays.

The big question is how this would affect other areas of the roster, especially considering the team is probably going to be keeping seven defensive linemen barring injury.

With 10 defensive backs a lock and three special teams players, that leaves only three spots for off-ball linebackers and that would be a bit of a risky play for the Broncos.

The risk, however, is worth it if the Broncos plan to use more dime sets this season than in the past.

With two pass rushers in contract years, the Broncos can’t let Holland get away as he will be part of the team’s plans beyond 2018.
