Notable Matchups:

Week 4 vs Kansas City

Week 9 vs Houston

Week 11 @ L.A. Chargers

Week 16 @ Oakland

The Broncos arguably have the best chance of the four AFC West teams to get off to a good start in the first portion of the season. Home field advantage is real in the Mile High City, and three of the Broncos first four games will be played at home.

The Broncos play fellow last-place division finishing New York Jets and Houston Texans, but both should be improved from last year.

The Texans would have competed for a playoff spot if DeShaun Watson didn’t get hurt last season, so the last place finish in the AFC South last year is a bit misleading.

The Jets finally have options at quarterback, so there isn’t any reason to think the Broncos will breeze by them either.

The toughest stretch of the year takes place from week 11 to week 14.

Three games on the road against the Chargers, Bengals, and 49ers with a home game mixed in against the Steelers.

That could turn out to be a pivotal part of the Broncos season before they finish out with two of three games at home.
