Notable Matchups:

Week 3 @ LA Rams

Week 4 vs San Francisco

Week 13 @ Pittsburgh

Week 15 @ Kansas City

I’ll start this by reiterating the fact that there is no such thing as an easy schedule in a league filled with the best football players in the world.

But of the four teams in the AFC West, the Chargers have the easiest set of 16 games.

Outside of the always challenging division matchups, two games that stick out for the Chargers are at the L.A. Rams in week three and at the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 13.

Both the Rams and Steelers have Super Bowl potential in 2018 and should pose quite the test on their home turf.

The Chargers have a chance to take advantage of an easier than normal home schedule with games against San Francisco, Tennessee, Arizona, Cincinnati, and Baltimore.

Of that group, it isn’t likely that more than one or two will still be playing after week 17.

If the Chargers are able to play up to their potential this season, a very good home record at home is certainly possible.
