The Denver Broncos had a lot of areas they needed to address in their preseason game against the Chicago Bears, many of which were on offense.

After the starting offense ended their game against the Vikings with just six plays and two three-and-outs, head coach Vance Joseph wanted to see his starters and team, in general, put together some consistently strong play and he was rewarded as the Broncos’ offense looked good in this game.

Which players stood out individually?

There were so many players we were excited to watch play, but these are the ones who stood out the most in this game.

Emmanuel Sanders, WR

Emmanuel Sanders continued to build off of his strong week of practice, which included an incredible rep in one-on-ones against Bears starter Kyle Fuller, who fell to the ground after Sanders put a series of moves on him.

In the game, Sanders was finding openings in the Bears’ defense on nearly every passing play. He also did plenty of this great work from the slot, where the Broncos may utilize him a lot more in 2018.

Sanders broke free for a would-be touchdown in this one, but Case Keenum recognized it a hair too late and was unable to connect with him.

Though Sanders has been criticized some this offseason for being past his ‘prime’, it looks like he’s really just entering his prime and has a lot of good football left.
