Orlando Scandrick, CB

While Kayvon Webster offers a unique skill set as a versatile defensive back with special teams ability, Orlando Scandrick offers the ability to play the slot as a nickel defender.

If the Broncos think Chris Harris Jr. would be more effective on the outside with Bradley Roby and Scandrick in the slot than rookie Isaac Yiadom on the outside and Harris in the slot, this is a move that has some serious potential to happen.

There are suitors for Scandrick since his release from the Washington Redskins, including the Broncos’ rival Kansas City.

If Scandrick is healthy, he is a very effective player.

Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case as often as he would prefer. He hasn’t played a full 16-game season since 2013.

If the Broncos feel Isaac Yiadom needs some time on ice instead of throwing him to the wolves, this is an intriguing option.
