After a disappointing first preseason game, the Denver Broncos set their sights on the Chicago Bears. Here are four top storylines to follow in game two…

One game into the preseason and you would think the Broncos just completed another disastrous 5-11 season. Fortunately, the Denver Broncos loss to the Vikings means nothing in the grand scheme of things, but it did provide context on a few situations while creating more storylines for us to track heading into week two.

As expected from week one, we had the opportunity to see each of the running backs get a few carries. While Royce Freeman may have been the only one to do much with those carries, the running back battle is far from over, and it is one that we will continue to provide updates on as the preseason progresses.

Additionally, more clarity (or confusion for that matter) has come to the quarterback position. While Paxton Lynch took a step back, Chad Kelly took his first opportunity in two years to show why he deserves to be the backup. Case Keenum played limited snaps but has analysts worried Elway made the wrong move.

Most unfortunate of all, we didn’t get to see young Courtland Sutton make an acrobatic catch over one of Minnesota’s fantastic secondary guys, but that will all come in time.

With the Broncos putting the loss to Minnesota behind them, the focus is now on the Chicago Bears who Denver will be holding scrimmages with this week before playing against Saturday night.

While a few of the main storylines from last week are continuing to develop into this week, there are a few new recent developments that Denver Broncos Country should be following.

Here are the top four storylines to follow Saturday night.
